Thanks to managements of the General Direction of Immovable Archaeological Heritage of the Ministry of Culture, archaeologists of the Direction of Certifications now have Smart Pads, tools that facilitate their work during field inspections. The national implementation of the device will be progressive.
This tool allows them to complete computerized minutes of in situ inspections, as Section 29 of Regulations of Archaeological Interventions approved by Supreme Decree 003-2014-MC rules.
Otherwise, thanks to its portability and ease of use, Smart Pads facilitate minutes of inspection’s delivery within the deadline established by the mentioned section.
With this device’s help, inspectors can easily take to field not only plans, applications or reports to carry out their work, but also to visualize the area to be inspected with ArcGis and Google Earth.
